Welcome to the Birmingham Twestival website, or Brumtwestival for short. On 12th February 2009 Birmingham will be joining over 100 confirmed cities around the world in a night of fund raising, partying, competitions and all round fun. There’s been a lot talk about Brumtwestival around the blogosphere, so rather than simply repeat what’s already been said in great detail we’ll start off with a summary of where we’re at.
There’s the initial post about a Brumtwestival as well as some more detailed background info over on 383 Project’s blog and a tweet aggregator at brumtwestival.co.uk. This should give you an idea or what we’re doing, and of course, there’s the Global Twestival site.

The Twittersphere here in Birmingham is a very close-knit bunch so of course everyone is actively encouraged to @ their ideas and thoughts to us.
